Happy Thanksgiving 🦃 Check out all the new features we’ve shipped and what’s been going on in our community.

We’ve slowly been rolling out a new UI, working on new ways to expose Nuon management features and installers to customers, and continuing to add more platform support.

Recently launched, you can also configure Helm components with *any* prepackaged Helm chart from [ArtifactHub.](https://artifacthub.io/)

## Nuon in the Community

This month, some of our team headed to KubeCon to connect with the open-source community and dive into the latest Kubernetes innovations. They caught thought-provoking talks, met interesting people, and even encountered a surprisingly good DJ booth at an after-conference event.

Next month, we’re keeping things rolling by co-hosting an after-party in Vegas during AWS re:Invent. If you’re going, we’d love to [meet up](https://nuon.co/contact-sales). And if you haven’t signed up yet, you can [RSVP here](https://luma.com/u7108v3m?tk=e6xvSF).

## Fresh off the Press

We had a lot to share this month! Jon Morehouse, our Founder & CEO, explains why [BYOC isn’t more secure by default](https://nuon.co/blog/byoc-is-not-more-secure-by-default/), and our VP of Revenue Mark Milligan tackled [nine of the biggest myths](https://nuon.co/blog/9-myths-about-byoc/) around it.

Last week we celebrated some major feature releases with a dedicated Launch Week. Check out [how we approach change controls](https://nuon.co/blog/announcing-change-controls/) — from [drift detection](https://nuon.co/blog/introducing-drift-detection/) and [break glass](https://nuon.co/blog/in-case-of-emergency-break-glass/) access to [approvals](https://nuon.co/blog/introducing-approvals/) and [policy management](https://nuon.co/blog/why-policies-matter-in-a-byoc-world/).

To round things off, Jon also shared his thoughts on why blob storage, especially S3, is [a natural fit for BYOC](https://nuon.co/blog/bring-your-own-blob-storage/).
